Ferguson is seeking a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate in Valley View, OH. You will pull and pack pipe yard orders, operate RF devices, and stock materials in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Prior PVF knowledge is a plus, and safety PPE must be used consistently.

The role requires 1–3 years in a warehouse/pipe yard, forklift experience, and basic data entry skills. A sign-on bonus of $500 is paid after 90 days of employment.

Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday 11:00pm to 7:30pm, or until work completion

$500 sign on bonus , paid out after 90 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy motorized material handling equipment in a safe manner
• Accurately pull and prepare orders for shipment
• Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material
• Effectively put items away and receive them in WMS (Warehouse Management System)
• Knowledge of PVF (pipe, valves, fittings, cutting, threading, grooving, etc.) is preferred
• Clean the workspace as you go and participate with the team in keeping our facility clean, safe, and accident free.
• Use technology like RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years of previous warehouse / pipe yard experience is required
• General computer skills for basic data entry
• Forklift operator experience is required
• Must have the ability to work outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions and temperatures
• Ability to carry objects that are up to 50 lbs by hand and 50 lbs or more by using equipment
• High attention to detail.
• Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.
• Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.

Pay Range:

$17.41 - $26.11

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
