Job summary

Randstad USA in San Jose, CA is seeking a reliable picker/packer for our fast-paced distribution centers. You will accurately pick items, verify SKUs, and prepare orders for shipping with attention to detail and efficiency.

Using RF scanners and packing materials, you’ll move orders from picking to packing with carts and hand trucks, perform final quality checks, and keep the workspace clean and organized for high-speed operations. Work hours are 07:00 AM–03:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Experience in order picking and packing in a distribution center.
• Ability to follow SKU specifications and perform quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Picking: locate and retrieve inventory items from designated storage areas using RF scanners or digital pick tickets, strictly following quantity and SKU specifications.
• Packing: select appropriate shipping materials and efficiently pack items to ensure they are secure, damage-free, and correctly labeled for shipment.
• Operate manual material handling equipment (carts, hand trucks) to move pulled orders from the picking area to the packing or staging lines.
• Perform final quality checks on every order before sealing, ensuring the contents match the order manifest and that documentation is complete.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized picking aisle and packing station to support high-speed operation and inventory integrity.
