Job summary

Creative Touch is seeking a Warehouse Picker/Packer and Driver to support showroom and warehouse operations. Responsibilities include loading/unloading inventory, packing, labeling, and delivering merchandise; travel to trade shows; and maintaining safety standards.

Strong attention to detail and customer service are essential. Qualifications include a valid driver's license, ability to lift 40–70 lbs, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must pass driving record check, drug testing and background check as per local regulations.
• Ability to lift 40-70 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to drive company vehicle without CDL.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a Warehouse Picker/Packer and Driver for deliveries.
• Load and unload inventory using a pallet jack.
• Pack, label and ship inventory and shipments.
• Travel to trade shows within the USA as required.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Read packing lists and shipping documents; follow orders.

Warehouse Picker/Packer and Driver

Responsibilities And Duties

• Performing manual labor and light housekeeping duties
• Lifting and paging area rugs (up to 50+ lbs) daily
• Loading and unloading inventory by hand or with pallet jack from warehouse, loading docks and delivery vehicles
• Packing, tagging and labeling inventory and shipments
• Assembling or breaking down pallets and bales for shipping
• Shipping, receiving, sorting, and inspecting inventory from incoming and outgoing shipments and reporting any shortages or damaged materials
• Completing inventory
• Determining and prioritizing work assignments and needs
• Reading packing lists, shipping documents, work orders
• Following safety precautions, rules and regulations to ensure a clean and safe working environment
• Driving company van for delivery of merchandise (no CDL required)
• Communicating and working with other departments and upper management to relay information and resolve issues
• Working events such as trade shows: set ups and tear downs (includes some weekends)
• Traveling to trade shows within the USA (required)
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications And Skills

The successful candidate must have:

• Driver's license with a clean driving record. (no CDL)
• Must be able to pass driving record check, drug testing and background check in accordance with local regulations.
• Ability to drive company vehicle and maintain a good driving record
• Ability to lift at least 40-70 lbs repeatedly
• Ability to follow verbal instructions with attention to detail
• Ability to adhere to safety policies and procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse/showroom environment with good customer service
• Ability to be an effective team member and maintain good attendance
• Good verbal/written communication skills, basic math and reading comprehension
• Customer Service and professionalism is required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Computer Skills a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
