Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC in New Jersey is seeking warehouse associates to join a safety‑conscious team with a pleasant, outgoing attitude. This role offers a base pay of $19.00 per hour and a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:45am to 3:15pm, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, 401K and PTO.

Responsibilities include picking by numbers, lifting up to 100 lbs, operating forklifts and RF scanners, and packing finished products for shipment while maintaining safety and attendance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work overtime and flexible schedule.

• Lift 50–100 lbs as needed and move items safely.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and RF scanners.
• Package or kit finished product for shipping.
• Follow all safety requirements and use WMS for scans.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick products by matching numbers and products
• Need to be able to lift 50lbs to 100lbs
• OT is required
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
• Follow all safety requirements
• Accurately select products by matching numbers, picking required quantities, and confirming locations
• Hand stack cases of product in a defined stacking pattern repetitively from floor to pallet throughout duration of the shift
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
• Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several
• locations for shipment (where applicable)
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
• Must be willing to operate EPJ, Reach Truck, Forklift, and use RF Scanners

Qualifications:

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
