Job summary

Shop LC is seeking energetic Warehouse Picker/Packer to join our Austin team. You will pull, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse. The role involves lifting up to 70 pounds, standing or walking for long periods, and flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.

This part-time position offers hourly pay of $20.00, plus Shop LC benefits and opportunities for growth within a dynamic retail operation headquartered in Austin.

Warehouse Picker/Packer

Work Schedule:

Shop LC is looking for energetic and motivated warehouse team members willing to work hard and have fun! As a Picker/Packer, you will pull, prepare, and pack customer orders for shipment, keeping pace with a fast, high-volume warehouse environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Pull and fill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Unload containers and organize incoming merchandise.
• Prepare merchandise for shipment, including packing and labeling.
• Stock and restock merchandise as needed.
• Maintain quality service by following organizational standards.
• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.
• Complete data entry as needed.
• All other duties as assigned by manager.

Minimum Requirements:

These are the baseline expectations for every warehouse role at Shop LC, in addition to the role-specific duties and skills listed above.

Physical:

• Remaining in a stationary position, standing or sitting, for prolonged periods.
• Moving about the warehouse to accomplish tasks, including walking for extended periods.
• Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 70 pounds.
• Performing repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Bending, reaching, and maneuvering around tasks in a warehouse environment.
• Pushing, pulling and maneuvering carts and equipment.

Communication:

• Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to understand safety instructions, job procedures, and workplace communications.
• Ability to accurately follow written and verbal directions.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers, leads, and supervisors.

Hygiene:

• Report to work neatly groomed and in compliance with company dress code and safety requirements.
