Job summary

Stein Distributing Company in Boise, ID is seeking an entry-level Warehouse Associate to support order picking, packing, loading, and distribution operations.

You will work with VIP voice pick system, pallet jack or forklift, and must be able to lift up to 160 lbs; overtime may be required.

Flexibility for a work week of Monday–Friday with potential overtime; pre-employment background check and drug test required. Excellent attention to detail and reliable transportation are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age 18.
• Reliable transportation to/from work.
• Pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Able to lift 30+ pounds routinely and up to 160 pounds.
• Forklift operation experience preferred (on-site training provided).
• Strong communication skills.
• Clean appearance.

Responsibilities

• Build orders using a pallet jack or forklift with VIP voice pick system.
• Verify pallets using Easy Ops.
• Wrap pallets with plastic shrink wrap.
• Load pallets and kegs into correct staging area.
• Load product and kegs into assigned trailers.
• Able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Ability to safely lift 125 lbs.
• Picking orders for next day delivery using computer voice picking system.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

OBJECTIVE / GENERAL DESCRIPTION

To follow the specific guidelines developed by Stein Distributing concerning the warehouse orders, picking process, verifying process and loading process for safe and effective delivery of all Stein Distributing products. When picking there will be a 4 cent per case picked incentive added to each payroll.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build orders using a pallet jack or forklift with VIP voice pick system.
• Verify pallets using Easy Ops.
• Wrap pallets with plastic shrink wrap.
• Load pallets and kegs into correct staging area.
• Load product and kegs into assigned trailers.
• Able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Ability to safely lift 125 lbs.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to be certified on forklift/electric pallet jack.
• Picking orders for next day delivery using computer voice picking system.

SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties as assigned or required.
