Job summary

Iberia Foods LLC, a leading Caribbean and Hispanic food distributor in the United States, seeks an Associate, Warehouse (Picker) to accurately select and retrieve products for customer orders within our warehouse facility in New Jersey.

You will use RF scanners, operate pallet jacks and hand trucks, lift up to 50 pounds, and collaborate with supervisors and teammates to maintain inventory accuracy and a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Proficiency in using RF scanners or other inventory management tools is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders from inventory using a picking list or RF scanner.
• Ensure accuracy of picked items, quantities, and product codes.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding order discrepancies or issues.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
