Job summary

Earnest Machine is seeking a diligent Picker to accurately assemble and prepare customer orders in its Atlanta-area distribution center. This role requires attention to detail and safe operation of warehouse equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include picking, staging, and preparing orders, using RF scanners, and maintaining inventory accuracy while upholding safety procedures and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Pick and build customer orders accurately and efficiently based on daily shipping requirements.
• Stage, organize, and prepare orders on skids/pallets for shipment.
• Continue picking ahead for upcoming orders once daily order requirements have been completed.
• Assist with additional warehouse tasks and priorities as directed after order-picking activities are finished.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including order pickers and reach trucks, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse technology to accurately track inventory and order fulfillment.
• Pick products from elevated storage locations and high shelving areas.
• Verify product quantities and order accuracy before staging for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including completing daily housekeeping responsibilities in assigned areas.
• Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and work instructions.

Position Summary

What You'll Bring

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday
• Ability to work on-site at our Atlanta, GA distribution center
• Experience using RF scanners in a warehouse environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to follow directions and work independently with minimal supervision
• At least 1 year of reach truck experience
• At least 1 year of order picker experience
• Experience picking products from high shelving and elevated storage locations
• Comfortable working with warehouse technology, including scanners and printers
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to assist with additional tasks as business needs require

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with inventory control and warehouse best practices.
