Job Overview

This labor-intensive position involves hand building pallets of product for bulk and route trucks, requiring strict attention to order accuracy. Employees will work from electronic order systems or sheets, using forklifts and electronic pallet jacks, ensuring loading accuracy and compliance with documentation. The role requires maintaining a clean, safe work environment and may involve working in various weather conditions and shifts, depending on workload.

Responsibilities

1. Drive power pallet jack or forklift to build pallets according to load sheets or voice pick systems.
2. Mark load tickets for out-of-stock items and wrap pallets upon completion.
3. Complete paperwork and verify orders before loading.
4. Stage pallets and load into trucks, ensuring proper stacking and shrink-wrapping.
5. Unload raw materials and returned pallets, maintaining warehouse organization.
6. Maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
7. Ensure reliable and predictable attendance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred Experience

• Warehouse environment experience, including order picking, pallet stacking, and operating powered equipment.
• Forklift operation skills, including maneuvering in tight spaces.
• Experience with racking systems and team collaboration.

Additional Information

Position involves lifting 20-45 pounds repeatedly, standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods. Work hours and weather conditions may vary.
