This labor-intensive position is responsible for hand building pallets of product for bulk and route trucks. Each loading type requires strict attention to order accuracy for outgoing and incoming trucks. Employees work from electronic order systems or sheets, using forklifts and electronic pallet jacks. The role involves ensuring accuracy in loading and compliance with documentation, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and working in various weather conditions. Responsibilities include loading trucks, unloading raw materials, stacking and shrink-wrapping pallets, and managing product movement. The position requires lifting 20-45 pounds repeatedly, standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.

PRIMARY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Drive power pallet jack or forklift to build pallets according to load sheets or voice pick systems.
• Mark load tickets for out-of-stock items.
• Wrap pallets upon completion.
• Complete paperwork and check trucks before loading.
• Stage pallets and load into trucks.
• Complete partial and mixed pallets.
• Maintain cleanliness in the work area.
• Ensure reliable attendance.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years or older.

Helpful Experience:

• Warehouse experience including order picking, pallet handling, and powered equipment.
• Forklift operation skills.
• Experience with racking systems and stacking.
• Teamwork and cooperative skills.
