This labor-intensive position involves hand building pallets of product for bulk and route trucks, requiring strict attention to order accuracy and safety. Responsibilities include operating forklifts and electronic pallet jacks, loading and unloading trucks, maintaining a clean work environment, and working in various weather conditions. The role involves lifting cases weighing 20-45 pounds repeatedly, standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout long shifts.

PRIMARY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Drive power pallet jack or forklift to pick and build loads according to load sheets or voice pick systems.
2. Mark load tickets for out-of-stock items.
3. Wrap pallets once loaded.
4. Complete paperwork and verify loads before dispatch.
5. Stage pallets and load into trucks.
6. Finish partial pallets and organize stored pallets.
7. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
8. Ensure consistent attendance and punctuality.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years or older.

Helpful Experience:

• Warehouse experience including order picking, pallet handling, and operating powered equipment.
• Forklift operation skills.
• Experience with racking systems and stacking.
• Teamwork and cooperative work experience.
