This labor-intensive position is responsible for hand building pallets of product for bulk and route trucks. Responsibilities include ensuring order accuracy during loading and unloading, working from electronic order systems or sheets, and using forklifts or electronic pallet jacks. The role requires maintaining a clean and safe work environment and may involve working in various weather conditions with variable shifts.
Loading involves moving full pallets onto trailers and removing returned pallets or flats. Unloading raw materials and placing them in designated warehouse spaces is also required. Bulk truck loading involves selecting and stacking products securely for local delivery. The position includes unloading returned products and pallets.
Route truck loading involves selecting specific packages or pallets based on sales orders, with responsibilities for unloading returns. The role requires lifting cases weighing 20-45 pounds repeatedly, along with standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
