To ensure the efficient and economical utilization of the warehouse facilities for purchasing, receiving, storing and distributions of supplies and materials. Must maintain an organized and efficient operation for the processing of materials.
Within the limits of approved board policies, operating guidelines and procedures, approved work plans and budgets, and specific delegation from the Director of Purchasing and Warehouse Services, the Warehouse Person II assumes the responsibility of this position for developing and maintaining a favorable Cooperative image consistent with the Cooperative's Strategic Goals:
Employee required to work indoors and outdoors with exposure to heat and cold.
Normal working hours will be scheduled by department supervisor. This position may be required to work scheduled shifts and some overtime when required and approved by the supervisor.
This job requires reading, writing and mathematics; therefore, a high school diploma or the equivalent is preferred but not required.
Must have experience in related classification, having full knowledge of storing and distribution of material and supplies.
