TK Elevator is seeking a Warehouse Person I (Non-Forklift) for Olive Branch, MS. The role covers receiving, picking, packing, and shipping using barcode systems and an automatic material handling setup. Basic computer skills are required, and the job is safety-sensitive.

Responsibilities include accurate order fulfillment, kit assembly with barcodes, returns processing, and supporting cycle counts. Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds is possible; a fast-paced, team-based environment is expected.

Qualifications

Job description

Come be a part of TK Elevator's partially automatic material handling environment warehouse for Spare Parts as a Warehouse Person I Non-Forklift in Olive Branch, MS. Responsible for the work flows in the areas of receiving, picking (goods to man) and packing/shipping (goods to man). This position doesn’t require forklift skills, but it does require basic computer skills.

This is a safety sensitive position.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Accurately picks, packs, ships, and receives materials utilizing barcode and scanner technology along with an automatic material handling system; all driven by software and computerized systems.
• Assembles kits for stocking purposes as required; requiring barcoding and scanning with an attention to detail to avoid errors.
• Processes customer returns for restock.
• The receiving area requires bagging activities involving many small parts; each part is identified by a unique barcode which must be applied during receiving. Some heavy lifting is involved.
• The picking stations are based on a goods to man concept involving the latest pick to light technology.
• The shipping station are based on goods to man concept as orders are conveyed to the ship station. Errors can be made in this area so attention to detail is paramount. Some heavy lifting in involved.
• Maintains work areas in a clean and orderly fashion according to 6S standards; good housekeeping is paramount.
• Promote a safety conscience work environment as we work towards zero safety incidents.
• Assists in cycle counting inventory.
• Performs other job duties as may be assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum - High School Diploma
• Technical degree
• 1 year in a computerized work environment
• Knowledge of elevator and escalator systems or work in a parts warehouse is a plus.
• Working knowledge of computerized system or computer skills is preferred.
• Knowledge in Warehouse Management System is a plus.
• Software experience in Oracle is a plus.Prior Warehousing experience or similar environment is a plus.
• Requires excellent dependability, the ability to multi-task and must work effectively without close supervision.
• Demonstrated experience of working in a fast-paced and team-based environment
• Requires lifting parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Self-motivation is a sought-after trait.
• A proven record of consistent and fair enforcement of facility rules, policies, regulations
