Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring permanent full-time Skilled Laborers and Construction Professionals to ensure excellent craftsmanship at our manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas.

Warehouse, Manufacturing, and Construction positions pay weekly.

• Hourly Pay: $17.00 per hour
• Schedule: First Shift Friday - Sunday 4:30 am - 3:00 pm and Second Shift Monday 4:30 pm - 3:30 am

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 0 to 1 year in carpentry or construction background preferred
• Ability to comprehend basic math
• Ability to operate power tools safely
• Follow repair processes
• Twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level, and crouch frequently
• Lift a minimum of 75 lbs using proper techniques
• Stand and walk for extended periods (at least 2 hours straight, four times in an 8-hour day)
• Use hands and feet simultaneously and perform repetitive movements

Responsibilities

• Safely repair pallets to meet company standards and safety protocols
• Operate pry bars to detach damaged boards
• Use hammers, grinders, saws, and nail guns to repair pallets
• Manually lift 70 lb pallets from stacks to repair tables
• Ensure pallets meet CHEP's quality control standards
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Promote safety in all operations
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
• Wear all safety equipment during repairs
• Perform other duties as required
