Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a Scooter Driver in Salt Lake City to operate pallet jacks and move goods between locations. You will assist with loading/unloading, prepare pallets, and ensure items are properly labeled and boxed for delivery.

Responsibilities include performing pre-checks on electric pallet jacks, troubleshooting minor issues, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate pallet jacks and related equipment.
• Experience with loading and unloading goods.
• Attention to proper labeling, packing, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Take orders from supervisors for order picking activities.
• Assist in loading and unloading items from delivery trucks.
• Prepare pallets and ensure items are properly labeled and boxed.
• Perform pre-checks on electric pallet jacks to ensure proper working order.
• Troubleshoot minor issues as needed and report anomalies.
• Maintain pallet jacks and equipment on a regular basis.
• Verify order accuracy against sheets during picking.
• Count items and report any damaged goods to the supervisor.
• Operate electric pallet jack to move items to labeling/quality control areas.
• Transport items to delivery pallets safely and urgently.
• Report any incidents or accidents to supervision.
• Remove empty containers from picking areas and keep locations clean.
• Replenish pick locations and perform warehousing tasks.
• Label, sort, and store picked products.
• Assemble containers and ensure maintenance of supplies and equipment.
