Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is hiring a Scooter Driver to operate electric pallet jacks and move items within the warehouse. You will assist with loading/unloading, ensure correct items are selected, and transport them to delivery pallets safely and promptly.

Daily duties include performing pre-checks on pallet jacks, basic maintenance, and reporting issues to supervision. Ideal candidates are safety-conscious and punctual, with experience in warehousing tasks and order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating pallet jacks or forklifts in a warehouse setting.
• Safety-conscious with adherence to PPE and safety protocols.
• Ability to follow supervisor instructions and pick orders accurately.

Responsibilities

• Take orders from supervisors for order picking activities.
• Assist in loading and unloading items from delivery trucks.
• Prepare pallets for handling objects appropriately.
• Perform pre-checks on electric pallet jacks to ensure proper working order.
• Perform minor troubleshooting as needed.
• Ensure pallet jacks are maintained regularly.
• Pick orders from storage areas and verify accuracy from orders.
• Count items and report any discrepancies to supervisor.
• Operate electric pallet jack to move items to labeling/quality control areas.
• Box and label items appropriately.
• Transport items to delivery pallets safely and urgently.
• Report unusual incidents or accidents to supervisor.
• Remove empty containers after picking tasks.
• Replenish pick locations and perform warehousing tasks.
• Label, sort, and store picked products.
• Assemble containers and maintain supplies and equipment.
