Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a dependable Scooter Driver to move items using pallet jacks and prepare pallets for shipping. You will assist with loading and unloading, ensure correct items are picked, and maintain equipment safety.

Daily responsibilities include performing pre-checks on electric pallet jacks, spotting and reporting issues, and coordinating with supervisors to meet delivery timelines. This role requires attention to safety and accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating pallet jacks and performing basic maintenance.
• Ability to verify items and assist with loading/unloading safely.
• Familiarity with labeling, packing, and warehousing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Take orders from supervisors for order picking activities.
• Assist in loading and unloading items from delivery trucks.
• Prepare pallets for handling objects appropriately.
• Perform pre-checks on electric pallet jacks to ensure proper working order.
• Perform minor troubleshooting when needed.
• Ensure pallet jacks are maintained on a periodic basis.
• Pick orders and verify accuracy against order sheets.
• Count items and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Operate electric pallet jack to move items to labeling/quality control areas.
• Ensure items are boxed and labeled correctly.
• Transport items to delivery pallets safely and urgently.
• Report unusual incidents to supervisor.
• Remove empty containers from picking locations after tasks.
• Replenish pick locations and perform warehousing tasks.
• Label, sort, and store picked products.
• Assemble containers and boxes and maintain supplies/equipment.
