PureField Ingredients is seeking a Warehouse/Yard Operator to support packaging, warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations at our Wheat Plant in Russell, KS. This position is responsible for safely handling finished products, loading trucks and railcars, operating packaging equipment, and maintaining food safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and enjoys hands-on work in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, agricultural, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
• Basic math and recordkeeping skills.
• Understanding of workplace safety practices and procedures.

Aufgaben

• Operate packaging equipment and bulk bag filling systems.
• Set up packaging lines, load bag magazines, and verify lot coding information.
• Inspect and document magnets and other food safety control points.
• Inspect and clean pallets, packaging materials, and ingredient containers.
• Load and inspect van trucks, bulk trucks, and railcars according to established procedures.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Move and store finished products in designated warehouse locations.
• Complete forklift inspections and required operational documentation.
• Follow procedures for damaged product, product reclaim, and material handling.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness through housekeeping and sanitation activities.
• Communicate effectively with truck drivers, contractors, and plant personnel.
• Follow all safety programs including Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, and Hot Work procedures.
• Comply with SQF, FSMA, food safety, and quality requirements.
• Attend required safety and food safety training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
