Job summary

OnTrac in Dayton, NJ is hiring a Package Handler to join our warehouse team. You will help unload, sort, and load packages safely and efficiently, contributing to our transport and delivery operations.

This direct-hire role offers up to $18.50 per hour and shifts Friday–Sunday with 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM and other variations. Training is provided in a fast-paced environment that values safety, teamwork, and reliability.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• Basic English proficiency (spoken and written)
• Reliable transportation and around 15 miles commute
• Willingness to undergo drug and criminal background screenings

Responsibilities

• Unloading trailers and sorting packages by ZIP code
• Loading delivery trucks for outbound routes
• Assisting with daily sort and warehouse clean-up tasks
• Using warehouse equipment to move packages up to 75 lbs
• Prioritizing safety by following all safety protocols

About the Role

As a Package Handler, you'll be a vital part of our warehouse team—helping ensure packages are unloaded, sorted, and loaded efficiently and safely. You'll work in a supportive environment that emphasizes safety, teamwork, and operational excellence, handling packages with care and precision.

Pay Rate: up to $18.50/hour

Available Shifts

Friday–Sunday

• 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Hours may vary based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety by following all safety protocols and procedures
• Unload trailers and sort packages by ZIP code
• Load delivery trucks for outbound routes
• Assist with daily sort and warehouse clean-up tasks
• Use warehouse equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and crates to move packages weighing up to 75 lbs

Key Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move items averaging 50 lbs, with occasional lifts up to 75 lbs
• Reliable transportation and a commute distance of around 15 miles
• Basic English proficiency (spoken and written)
• Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures
• Prior warehouse experience preferred, with evidence of heavy lifting and fast-paced operations
• Valid work authorization and a willingness to undergo drug and criminal background screenings
