Job summary

OnTrac is hiring Package Handlers in Gary, Indiana. This role supports warehouse operations with a strong emphasis on safety, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be standing for long periods, lifting items up to 75 pounds, and following safety instructions to keep everyone protected.

Pay is $18.00 per hour with seven shift options (various weekday schedules). Responsibilities include unloading trailers, sorting packages by ZIP codes, and loading trucks for deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic English language proficiency (spoken and written) for understanding safety and operational instructions in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to regularly lift, push, pull and/or move items averaging 50lbs and occasionally up to 75lbs.
• Able to work in heat and cold as temperatures vary in the warehouse by season.

Pay: $18.00/hr

Shift: (7 Options)

• Monday – Friday
• Tuesday – Saturday
• Wednesday – Sunday
• Thursday – Monday
• Friday – Tuesday
• Saturday - Wednesday

Shift hours: 3:30AM – 7:30AM or End of Sort. Hours may vary based on business needs. “End of Sort” is defined as the completion of all required sort work for the day and clean-up activities, as directed by site management.
