Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Kenosha, WI is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler for our distribution center at 10901 38th St. You’ll be on your feet for the entire shift, lifting up to 100 pounds, and you must be able to work holidays and weekends as needed.

No previous warehouse experience is required; our training team will show you how to get the job done. The role starts at $21.14 per hour with two raises in the first year, weekly pay, and profit sharing plus a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Willingness to work holidays, weekends, and overtime.

Job Responsibilities

• You’ll be on your feet for the duration of your shift and you’ll be lifting up to 100 pounds.
• No experience required – we train you how to get the job done with our dedicated training team.

Eligibility & Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed - holidays are very important to our customers.
• Your ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions is required while you’re here.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
• If selected for interview process and you work for a Gordon Food Service customer, you must provide a letter of support from your management.
