Plumbers Supply Co. is hiring a Workbench Associate at our Bishop Lane branch in Louisville. You will accurately pick and prepare orders, read customer orders, and maintain inventory in our warehouse.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Customer service focus with strong communication skills.
• Dependable attendance and reliability.
• Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Stamina to stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally more.
• Physical ability to perform warehouse tasks including bending, stooping, kneeling.
• Comfortable in a non-climate controlled warehouse.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picking products using an RF Scanner, ensuring order accuracy
• Reading customer orders and retrieving items from warehouse racks using barcodes and serial numbers
• Updating inventory in ERP system after each item is picked
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment for all stakeholders
• Operating heavy equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, etc
