Job Summary

Under general supervision, the associate will accurately and efficiently select products in the warehouse. Prepare products for shipping by stacking in an orderly and stable configuration, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Read customer order from label screen and select product by slot and description.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets in the proper sequence.
• Attach labels on product.
• Operate an electric pallet jack (2-pallet length) to move to the correct slot location and transport products to the dock area for staging.
• Handle products with care.
• Report any damage of merchandise, equipment, or facilities to a supervisor.
• Perform daily equipment checks.
• Assist in cleaning the facility and sign off on the assigned areas.
• Sign in and out for all equipment used.
• Use basic communication skills to understand work systems and instructions.
• Adhere to GMP, personal hygiene, and SQF policies as outlined in the Food Safety Training Manual.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 0-1 year relevant work experience.
• Frequently lift products weighing 10-75 lbs and up to 100 lbs.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
• Constantly bend and twist while operating equipment.
• Work in extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
• Stand for 10-12 hours daily.

Preferred Requirements

• 1 year experience operating electric pallet jacks or forklifts.
• 1 year warehouse, military, or physically active job experience.
• 1 year selection experience.
• 2 years of consistent work history preferred.
