Job Description: Distribution Center Associate

Perform a variety of distribution center (DC) functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, operating industrial equipment, loading outbound product onto trailers while monitoring and ensuring product accuracy and quality, and assisting in the efficient flow of merchandise in and out of the distribution center. Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to operate or learn to operate equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and power lift equipment (training provided).
  • Ability to work within set time frames and meet deadlines.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills involving standard situations.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to work in ambient or refrigerated environments for extended periods.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to read and write simple instructions and memos.
Desired Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 6 months of distribution center experience.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and assist in all DC functions.
  • Experience operating industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Record-keeping skills for shipments and processing.
  • Order selection and verification skills.
  • Ability to build pallets, sort merchandise, and prepare shipments.
  • Capability to load trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Experience with power lift equipment and replenishing stock.
  • Availability to work weekends, nights, overtime, and holidays.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
