Job summary

UNFI is hiring for a warehouse associate in Gilroy, CA. You will operate equipment to select customer orders, follow safety procedures, and use productivity measures to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

The role offers weekly pay, incentive pay for exceeding goals, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a 401K with company match. Weekend work adds a $2 Premium to the base rate; starting rate is $22.25/hr.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Safety guidelines.
• Warehouse/Operations preferred but not required; willing to train the right candidate.
• Ability to select at established minimum rate for department.
• Understand and follow all selecting procedures and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect assigned jack for safety issues.
• Enter information into productivity measures.
• Identify correct pick location and sequence per order.
• Report miss-located products immediately.
• Shrink wrap and label pallets with correct info.
• Stage pallets in proper bay.
• Communicate out-of-stocks promptly to supervisor/trainer.
• Operate pallet jack safely and efficiently.
• Build stable, cubed pallets.
• Park and recharge pallet jack at shift end.
