Job summary

Sysco Grand Rapids, LLC is hiring a Warehouse Selector to join its local foodservice distribution team. This active, physical role includes operating an electric pallet jack and/or forklift, picking orders for delivery, and palletizing products to fulfill customer orders.

You will work in temperatures that vary by product type and weather, with long shifts and standing hours. Overtime opportunities may be available. Join Sysco and grow within a global leader in foodservice.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 0–1 year of relevant work experience.
• Frequently lift 10 lb - 75 lb and up to 100 lb.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
• Constant bending and twisting while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
• Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
• Stand for 10–12 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Sysco warehouse as a critical member of the foodservice supply chain.
• Pick orders for delivery to foodservice venues in the local community.
• Operate an electric pallet jack and/or forklift as required.
• Organize and palletize product to build customer orders.
