Job summary

Sysco Alaska is looking for a Warehouse Selector to join our foodservice distribution team. You will pick orders in a Sysco warehouse, operating an electric pallet jack and/or forklift as you build customer orders for local delivery.

You must be at least 18 with 0–1 year of relevant experience, and you will work in variable temperatures, lift 10–75 lbs repeatedly, and stand for long shifts. Overtime opportunities and a strong benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 0 – 1 Year relevant work experience.
• Frequently lift product that weighs 10lb - 75lbs and up to 100lbs.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
• Constantly bend and twist while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
• Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
• Work on your feet for 10 – 12 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Active, physical role that includes operating an electric pallet jack, and/or forklift.
• Organizing and palletizing product to build customer orders.
• Other duties as assigned.
