Job summary

Southwest Traders, Inc. is seeking a warehouse selector to efficiently move products within our facility. You will select items, build pallets, and prepare them for loading onto delivery trucks while following company specifications and safety standards.

The role requires accurate counting, quick math, and adherence to temperature-controlled handling. Ideal candidates have 1 year warehouse experience, forklift and pallet jack proficiency, and the ability to work in hot or cold environments.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a warehouse as an order selector or similar role.
• Experience operating forklift and pallet jack.
• Strong attention to detail with basic math skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
• Willingness to work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold).

Responsibilities

• Select and itemize pallets of product according to company specifications.
• Wrap, tag and secure pallets for distribution.
• Operate forklift equipment including electric pallet jacks, reach lifts, order pickers and turret trucks.
• Maintain pick-rate and fill-rate while ensuring safety.
• Load pallets in correct sequence into delivery trucks.
• Keep records on stock usage and damage.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and temperature controls.
