UNFI Wholesale Inc. in Urbana, IL is hiring for an Order Selector in a fast-paced warehouse. You will pull customer orders using a Vocollect headset, transport products with electric pallet jacks, and ensure accurate labeling and pallet stability.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and high-speed accuracy in a temperature‑controlled setting. Typical shifts start early with a 4-day work week, including Sundays, and offer incremental wage increases for weekend, freezer, and after-hours shifts.

Job description

What does it mean to be a part of the Order Selection team?

In this fast-paced role, you are the boots on the ground and responsible for accurately and efficiently pulling customer orders within the warehouse. This role requires strategic thinking and attention to detail while palletizing orders and ensuring they are placed in the correct assigned locations. You will operate motorized equipment including Electric Pallet Jacks while ensuring that you safely and accurately move product within the warehouse. • $24.48/hr to start with yearly pay increase
  • +$2.00/hr for weekend shifts
  • +$2.00/hr for freezer shifts
  • +$1.25/hr for shifts past 5pm
• Weekly paychecks with option to withdraw early (One@Work)

Schedule:

• 6:00 am start time - 4:30 pm (or until work completion), 4 days per week - Sunday's required

Work Environment:

• Perishables working in temperatures of 34 degrees down to -15 degrees

Job Responsibilities:

• Pushing, sitting, touching, reaching, climbing, pulling, and gripping
• Willing to work in temperature-controlled and non-temperature-controlled environments
