Position Purpose:

Responsible for understanding and safely operating equipment, selecting items, building pallets, and adhering to productivity measures and safety procedures.

Essential Functions and Duties:

1. Inspect assigned equipment for safety issues.
2. Identify correct pick locations and sequences according to the order.
3. Shrink wrap and label pallets with correct truck, stop, and other required information.
4. Stage pallets in appropriate bays throughout the warehouse.
5. Listen for calls and promptly address out-of-stock items.
6. Report safety concerns immediately to supervisors.
7. Operate pallet jacks/push carts safely and efficiently.
8. Build stable and well-cubed pallets.
9. Park and recharge pallet jacks at shift end.

Qualifications:

• Understanding of safety guidelines.
• Warehouse/Operations experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to meet minimum productivity rates.
• Follow all selecting procedures and verbal instructions.
• Understand procedures in other warehouse areas for a comprehensive understanding.
