Job summary

Sysco Connecticut is seeking a Warehouse Selector to pull case orders on an electric pallet jack, organize product by assignment, and load onto a designated route in a fast-paced team setting.

You will work from the operations area, selecting items from the correct slots and performing other duties as directed by supervisors. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and electric pallet jack experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prefer High School or GED.
• 1 year related experience preferred.
• Electric pallet jack experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for long periods in a cooler environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs other job functions as assigned by supervisors

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Prefer High School or GED.

Experience

• Preferred 1-year related experience.
• Electric pallet jack experience preferred.

Professional Skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for long periods in a cooler environment.

Physical Demand

• Frequent lifting of a product up to 50 lbs. during the shift, infrequent lifting up to 80 lbs.
• Must be able to climb on and off powered industrial equipment.
• Regularly bend, squat, push, and pull.

Work Environment

• Must be able to work in confined spaces
