Job summary

Sysco Dallas Distribution is seeking a driven selector to pull case orders on an electric pallet jack, organize product by assignment, and load onto designated routes in a fast-paced team environment.

The role requires ability to lift up to 50–80 lbs, work Mon–Sat 6:00am–4:00pm, and occasionally longer shifts. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour, with experience-based variations. Sysco offers growth within a global foodservice leader.

Qualifications

• Education: Prefer High School or GED.
• Experience: Preferred 1-year related experience.
• Electric pallet jack experience preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks as required.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION:

$17.50

JOB SUMMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Selects orders assigned by operations clerk, and loads onto the proper route.
• Performs other job functions as assigned by supervisors

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Prefer High School or GED.

Experience

• Preferred 1-year related experience.
• Electric pallet jack experience preferred.

Professional Skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for long periods of time in a cooler environment.

Physical Demand

• Frequent lifting of a product up to 50 lbs. during the shift, infrequent lifting up to 80 lbs.
• Must be able to climb on and off powered industrial equipment.
• Frequent bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling

Work Environment

• Must be able to work in confined spaces
