OBE is hiring a Warehouse Staff to support picking and checking products for customer orders from our Kent, WA facility. The role involves loading and unloading items, labeling, packing, and clerical tasks using RF equipment and a shop floor computer.

The position emphasizes accuracy, safety, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma (preferred), good communication, and warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Effective communication with colleagues and supervisors.
• Experience in a warehouse or order-pulling role preferred.
• Basic computer skills a plus.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• On/off loading of metal and doors from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or bundles for eight or more hours daily.
• Assembling boxes, crates, or containers.
• Labeling and marking containers and insert lining or padding material to protect items during shipment.
• Weighing, measuring and counting product.
• Packing items according to shipping needs or supervisors' specifications, ensuring crates/boxes and packages are accurately packed.
• Completing clerical tasks with the ability to use shop floor computer and RF equipment.
• Conducting inspections to examine products and ensure they meet specifications for quality and are not damaged.
• Other duties as needed.

What You\'ll Get To Do

The Warehouse Staff is responsible for picking and checking products in the warehouse to fill customer orders.

Job Responsibilities:

• On/off loading of metal and doors from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or bundles for eight or more hours daily
• Assembling boxes, crates, or containers
• Labeling and marking containers and insert lining or padding material to protect items during shipment
• Weighing, measuring and counting product
• Packing items according to shipping needs or supervisors\' specifications, ensuring that the crates/boxes and packages are accurately packed
• Completing clerical tasks with the ability to use shop floor computer and RF equipment
• Conducting inspections to examine products and make sure they meet our specifications for quality and aren\'t damaged
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.
• Must be able to move up to 40 pounds at a time.

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma preferred
• Ability to communicate with employees, peers, and supervisors in an effective manner
• Experience in a warehouse job, and/or order pulling is preferred
• Basic computer skills a plus
• Ability to work independently

Position Pay Range

$21 - $21.50 USD
