Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a warehouse associate to select cases and containers of food and non-food products from multi-level racks. You will move orders to the loading dock with an electric pallet jack, ensuring safety and quality as you ship promptly.

The role requires lifting up to 100 lbs, working in multi-temperature environments, and compliance with drug/background checks. Benefits start Day 1, with growth opportunities in a dynamic distribution setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled/assigned shifts, including overtime.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly during the shift.
• Ability to lift 10-35 lbs regularly and up to 60-100 lbs depending on location.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer).
• Ability to pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• EPJ certification within the new-hire training period.
• Ability to complete required training independently.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures and report unsafe conditions.
• Review schedule, obtain supplies, and prepare for operations; perform safety checks on pallet jack/forklift.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
• Place pallets on pallet jack and locate products on assigned racks.
• Place stock items on pallet from pick slots and use pallets as directed.
• Transport completed palletized orders to shipping dock staging; shrink-wrap if needed.
• Remove batteries, replace with charged batteries, and complete vehicle inspection.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
