Express Employment- Brookfield in McCook, IL is hiring a Warehouse Order Picker for 1st and 2nd shifts with pay $18.00–$19.50 per hour. This long-term role requires standing for 8 hours, lifting, and working in a fast-paced warehouse.

You will pick, scan with RF devices, verify items, stage orders for packing or shipping, and maintain accuracy to meet daily productivity goals. Reliable attendance is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in order picking or warehouse environment is preferred.
• Ability to read item numbers, labels, quantities and locations.
• Comfort with RF scanners or handheld warehouse devices.

Responsibilities

• Pick products accurately according to orders and tickets.
• Use RF scanner to locate, scan, and confirm inventory.
• Verify item numbers, quantities, and product descriptions before completing orders.
• Pull products from designated warehouse locations.
• Place picked items into totes, carts or pallets for shipment.
• Label and prepare completed orders for packing or shipping.
• Stage completed orders in designated areas.
• Assist with replenishing picking locations as needed.
• Identify and report damaged, missing, or mislocated inventory.
• Maintain accurate product counts while completing orders.
• Follow FIFO or other inventory rotation procedures when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Meet established quality, accuracy and productivity expectations.
