Exploreelginarea is seeking an Order Picker for the Elgin, IL area. The role involves accurately selecting, staging, and preparing products for shipment while supporting efficient inventory flow in the warehouse.

The position contributes to meeting customer order requirements and maintaining operational efficiency. Responsibilities include using pick lists and RF scanners, receiving and moving products, packing shipments, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when fulfilling orders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals.
• Basic computer skills and experience using warehouse technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately using pick lists, RF scanners, or warehouse systems.
• Receive, stage, and move products within the warehouse as needed.
• Pack and prepare orders for shipment according to established procedures.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts as assigned.
• Follow all safety guidelines and keep work areas clean and organized.
