Job summary

Plumbers Supply Co. is seeking an order picker at our Lexington, KY branch to accurately pull and prepare customer orders using an RF scanner, reading orders, and retrieving items with barcodes.

You will update inventory in the ERP after each pick, maintain a clean and safe warehouse, and operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed. A HS diploma and 1 year of warehouse experience are required, along with reliable attendance and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Customer service focus with strong communication skills.
• Dependable attendance and reliability.
• Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated to learn and grow within the role.
• Stamina to stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally more with or without accommodation.
• Physical ability to perform warehouse tasks including bending, stooping, kneeling, etc.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities
