Staffmark in Joliet, IL is hiring a Warehouse Order Picker to support fast-paced distribution operations. You will pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment using RF scanners and WMS, and you’ll operate an EPJ to move products around the warehouse.

Schedules Available:

• 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM-3:30 PM
• Swing Shift: Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM-7:00 PM
• Fridays as required

Job Duties

• Operate an Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) to transport products throughout the distribution center.
• Sort, stage, and move merchandise to designated shipping and staging locations.
• Build stable pallets by arranging cartons according to size, weight, and dimensions.
• Wrap completed pallets and deliver them to the correct staging door for shipment.
• Verify order accuracy and maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Follow all warehouse safety policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily shipping and distribution goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of warehouse, order picking, distribution, or material handling experience preferred.
• Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) experience is a strong plus.
• Ability to accurately pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Experience reading pick tickets, packing lists, shipping labels, or electronic order systems.
• Experience using RF scanners and working in a fast-paced distribution environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to inventory accuracy and quality.
• Dependable attendance and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced warehouse environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, fulfillment, distribution, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience is preferred.
• Experience with RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is beneficial.
• Knowledge of inventory control, shipping procedures, or order fulfillment best practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, productivity, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Order Picker.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely handle products while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in warehouse and fulfillment environments while following established safety procedures.
