Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a Warehouse Order Picker in Jonesboro, AR. You will pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment, using RF scanners, forklift, and inventory systems to keep orders moving accurately.

This role requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating stand-up forklifts. Training on a first shift is available before transitioning to the second shift; pay is $23.30 per hour with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent required.
• Ability to accurately pick, pack, label and prepare orders.
• Experience reading pick tickets, packing lists, or shipping labels.
• Ability to safely use RF scanners and warehouse equipment as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-up forklift to retrieve, transport, and deliver materials.
• Use RF scanners and handheld devices to locate and track inventory.
• Read schedules and orders to determine material needs and priorities.
• Verify locations, quantities, and part numbers for accuracy.
• Complete inventory transactions and maintain digital records.
• Build crates and deliver materials to production departments.

Job Duties

• Operate a stand-up forklift to retrieve, transport, and deliver materials throughout the facility.
• Use RF scanners, forklift-mounted tablets, and digital inventory systems to locate and track inventory.
• Safely retrieve and store materials on racks reaching approximately 15-20 feet high.
• Read production schedules, work orders, and inventory reports to determine material needs and priorities.
• Verify inventory locations, quantities, and part numbers for accuracy.
• Complete inventory transactions and maintain accurate digital records.
• Conduct weigh counts of materials and ensure inventory is properly documented.
• Build cardboard crates to support production and equipment needs.
• Deliver materials to production departments and support manufacturing operations.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution training is beneficial.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience Requirements

• Ability to accurately pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Experience reading pick tickets, packing lists, shipping labels, or electronic order systems.
• Ability to safely use RF scanners, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other warehouse equipment as required.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to inventory accuracy and quality.
• Dependable attendance and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced warehouse environments.
• Previous stand-up forklift experience is required.
• Manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail when verifying inventory, part numbers, and material locations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, fulfillment, distribution, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience is preferred.
• Experience with RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is beneficial.
• Knowledge of inventory control, shipping procedures, or order fulfillment best practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, productivity, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Order Picker.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely handle products while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in warehouse and fulfillment environments while following established safety procedures.
• Ability to safely operate stand-up forklifts throughout the shift.
• Comfortable retrieving and storing materials on shelving systems up to five levels high.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining safety and accuracy standards.
