Job summary

Visionworks of America seeks a Warehouse Associate to perform basic warehousing duties, including order fulfillment and packing from multiple distribution locations. You will use manual documents or computer devices following established procedures with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and productivity.

Responsibilities include picking and stocking with scanners, packing items, and meeting production goals while maintaining inventory controls and a clean workspace.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 1–3 years of related manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to read English to interpret safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive understanding of picking and stocking documents, labels, and hand held scanners, PCs and printing devices.
• Pack, store and redistribute items in an orderly fashion.
• Picking and stocking of merchandise from pre-defined designated storage bin locations.
• Ability to meet or exceed established production goals.
• Use inventory controls to prevent shrinkage.
• Assist with training new hires and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment, workstations and overall facility.
