Job summary

Genesee Scientific, a life science supplier based in Raleigh, NC, seeks an Order Processing Coordinator to streamline daily warehouse operations and insure timely order fulfillment. You will be the liaison among warehouse, sales, and customer service, handling questions or changes to orders.

You will support the team by maintaining accuracy, complying with safety standards, and ensuring on-time shipping while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet company goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years in a stockroom or warehouse setting, some supervisory experience preferred.
• Forklift certification is highly preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not held.
• Proficiency with computers and scanning equipment; knowledge of shipping programs is a plus.
• Ability to maintain accuracy and work well in a team environment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support daily warehouse operations and guide associates to maintain productivity.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing and fulfillment of daily orders.
• Be the main contact for sales order questions, cancellations, or revisions.
• Direct and prioritize daily workload for warehouse staff.
• Set shipping plans based on priorities and cut-off times to optimize fulfillment.
• Communicate with leadership and teams to resolve order issues promptly.
• Ensure orders ship within carrier cut-off times and reconcile open orders.
• Improve order control processes and drive warehouse efficiencies.
• Assist in meeting KPI metrics related to order control.
• Collaborate to provide a safe, efficient working environment.
