Interstate Batteries is seeking a Warehouse Team Member II to maintain a well-stocked, organized warehouse and to assist Route Service Managers. You will load and unload batteries, restock inventory, and help with battery testing and adjustments while ensuring accuracy in warehouse reporting.

This role requires working knowledge of safety regulations, carrier operations, and the ability to operate a forklift or motor vehicle.

Qualificações

• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management skills and able to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of carrier operations, shipment routing, and distribution methods.
• Knowledge of state, federal, and interstate commerce regulations.
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems required.
• Understanding of hazardous shipping laws and requirements.
• Ability to operate motor vehicles and/or forklift.
• Must have a clean drivers record AND meet driver qualifications requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Load and unload batteries
• Restock batteries
• Charge, clean, date and rewrap rotations
• Charge, test, clean, and date adjustment batteries
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment
• Accuratelymaintainwarehouse reporting and claims
• Operate a forklift and motor vehicle
• Run the Hot Shots ona timelybasis as needed
• Fill in for NAC Delivery Specialist or RSM, as needed
• Collect and handle payments on account, which may include cash, checks and money orders
• Collect and return junk and/or used batteries to the warehouse.
• Follow / fulfill all driver program requirements, as specified by the manager.
• Other duties as requested
