Job summary

Indiana University Health System is seeking a Warehouse Associate at the Integrated Service Center in Plainfield, IN. The role runs Monday through Friday, 5:00am to 1:30pm, supporting inbound deliveries and inventory control.

You will inspect deliveries, load/unload shipments, verify purchase orders, operate the Warehouse Management System, and work with robotics and conveyor systems to ensure accurate, timely stock.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of relevant warehouse experience.
• Material Handling Certification required.
• Must be familiar with NABP rules and regulations.
• Requires standing 100% and significant walking.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull heavy pallets.
• Overtime and on-call rotation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates inbound delivery inspections for accuracy.
• Loads and unloads deliveries from semi-trailers and box trucks.
• Reports suspicious packages to Inventory Control.
• Ensures inbound deliveries match purchase orders.
• Verifies product origin for accreditation.
• Uses the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for receiving, putaway and picking.
• Troubleshoots discrepancies and escalates to leadership.
• Operates robotic goods-to-person picking and conveyor systems safely.
• Ensures orders are filled timely and accurately.
• Performs cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Reports maintenance concerns promptly and keeps work area clean.
• Facilitates stocking replenishment and reports discrepancies.
• Operates material handling equipment (reach trucks, order pickers, walkie riders).
• Some assignments may require light mechanical troubleshooting or PM.
