Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in the Tracy, CA area to lead daily warehouse operations and teams. You will plan work, schedule crews, supervise activities, and ensure safety and efficiency across receiving, storage, and loading processes.

The role requires strong organizational and leadership skills, plus experience in a unionized warehouse environment. Excellent customer service and cost-awareness are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree in Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
• Strong organization and planning abilities.
• Ability to analyze cost data to improve operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan warehouse work operations in line with shipments, receipts, store orders and stock rotation.
• Schedule and assign warehouse crew and equipment to meet daily volume targets.
• Supervise warehouse crews in a unionized environment.
• Oversee truck loading, order selecting and receiving activities.
• Coach and lead teams to improve receiving, processing, storage, and loading performance.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures and safety standards.
• Take inventories and report out-of-stock or overstock conditions.
• Perform administrative duties related to warehouse functions.
• Maintain a safe working environment and monitor safety programs.
• Assist in hiring, promotions and performance reviews as needed.
• Maintain high levels of customer service for retail and public customers.
