Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a warehouse operations team member to coordinate workflow and train staff across production departments. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and quality while supporting supervisors and managers to meet daily objectives.

Responsibilities include training, cross-training, and adapting to seasonal workload, with a focus on teamwork and fluid communication across departments to sustain production flow.

Qualifications

• 2 years of warehouse experience.
• Advanced knowledge of departmental functions.
• Ability to fill in for Shipping/Receiving/Coordinator or other specialized function.
• Ability to perform Yard Jockey duties and Expediter/Shortage Runner responsibilities.
• Knowledge limited to work routines and supporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Train and certify new employees on operations and safety.
• Coordinate movement and assignment of associates to drive results.
• Identify and improve techniques for safety, efficiency, accuracy, and quality.
• Inform management of operational topics impacting upstream or downstream success.
• Cover and support the department supervisor or trainer as needed.
• Adapt to seasonal busy/slow periods and assist other departments.
• Maintain open communication across management and departments to support workflow.
• Handle busy production demands calmly and collaboratively.
