Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a warehouse associate to support distribution, training, and operations. The role focuses on coordinating workflow to improve safety, quality, and efficiency while supporting production departments.

Responsibilities include training new employees, certifying departmental capabilities, and assisting supervisors with resource allocation to meet daily product flow demands. Travel is not required, but overtime may occur during peak periods.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in warehouse position
• Advanced knowledge of departmental functions
• Ability to fill in for Shipping Specialist, Receiving Specialist, Coordinator, or other specialized function
• Ability to perform Yard Jockey or Expeditor/Shortage Runner responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow to support production and distribution efficiency
• Train and certify new employees on operations and safety
• Communicate with trainers and supervisors to monitor progress
• Move and assign associates to meet product flow and training needs
• Assist in maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency goals
• Cover routine DC Associate functions when needed
• Maintain open communication with management and other departments
