Job summary

MilliporeSigma, a unit of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, is seeking a Warehouse/PIT Operator in Danvers, IL. The role involves receiving/shipping, operating forklifts, ERP tasks, and inventory analysis to support production targets.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and 1+ years of PIT experience. Weekend shifts are Friday–Sunday, 6am–6pm, with benefits including health insurance and PTO.

Responsibilities

• Handle receiving, shipping, and inter-facility material movement between the off-site warehouse and main plant.
• Operate box trucks, forklifts, and Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) safely.
• Perform ERP transactions, inventory records maintenance, and material software operations.
• Analyze inventory reports and execute prompt corrective actions.
• Coordinate daily workloads and cross-functional communication to maintain efficiency and hit production targets.
• Troubleshoot and escape complex inventory or operational issues.
• Monitor equipment functionality and schedule required maintenance.
• Strictly adhere to Environmental Health and Safety standards.
• Weekend Days: Friday - Sunday 6am - 6pm.

Your Role:

• Handle receiving, shipping, and inter-facility material movement between the off-site warehouse and main plant.

• Analyze inventory reports (LPNs, Min/Max, Aging, Shortages, Expiring) and execute prompt corrective actions.
• Coordinate daily workloads and cross-functional communication to maintain efficiency and hit production targets.
• Troubleshoot and escape complex inventory or operational issues.
• Monitor equipment functionality and schedule required maintenance.
• Strictly adhere to company Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards.
• Weekend Days: Friday - Sunday 6am - 6pm.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• 1+ years of PIT experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle).
• Forklift experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Suite.

Pay Range for this position: $23 - $40 / hour

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
