Job summary

MilliporeSigma in Massachusetts is seeking an inventory/warehouse associate to manage receiving, shipping, and inter-facility movements between the off-site warehouse and main plant. You will operate PIT equipment and perform ERP transactions to maintain accurate records.

This on-site role requires a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or GED, and 1+ year PIT experience. Weekend shifts Fri–Sun 6am–6pm and strict EHS adherence are part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Handle receiving, shipping, and inter-facility material movement.

• Analyze inventory reports and take corrective actions.
• Coordinate daily workloads and cross-functional communication to maintain efficiency and hit production targets.
• Troubleshoot inventory or operational issues.
• Monitor equipment functionality and maintenance scheduling.
• Adhere to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards.
• Weekend Days: Friday - Sunday 6am - 6pm.

Your Role

• Handle receiving, shipping, and inter-facility material movement between the off-site warehouse and main plant.
• Operate box trucks, forklifts, and Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) safely.
• Perform ERP transactions, inventory records maintenance, and material software operations.
• Analyze inventory reports (LPNs, Min/Max, Aging, Shortages, Expiring) and execute prompt corrective actions.
• Coordinate daily workloads and cross-functional communication to maintain efficiency and hit production targets.
• Troubleshoot and escalated complex inventory or operational issues.
• Monitor equipment functionality and schedule required maintenance.
• Strictly adhere to company Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards.
• Weekend Days: Friday - Sunday 6am - 6pm.

Minimum Qualifications

Who You Are:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 1+ years of PIT experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle).
• Forklift experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Suite.

Pay Range for this position: $23 - $40 / hour

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
