Axalta Coating Systems in Mt. Clemens, MI is hiring for a Warehouse (Shipping & Receiving) role. The Warehouse Checker will process orders, verify inbound/outbound shipments, and maintain inventory accuracy.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years warehouse experience, 1 year forklift driving, strong computer skills, SAP S/4HANA, and proficiency with Warehouse Management Software. The position offers a 2:00pm–10:30pm schedule, Monday to Friday, at $22.00 hourly plus a small shift differential.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 2 years of warehouse experience.
• 1 year forklift driving experience is required.
• Strong computer skills and experience with SAP and Warehouse Management Software.

Responsibilities

• Check, process, and clear customer orders for shipment.
• Sort, label, and organize goods in the warehouse.
• Receive and inspect inbound and outbound shipments.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts.
• Operate hand-held scanners/RF terminals and ensure paperwork accuracy.
• Coordinate with procurement and sales to ensure stock availability.

Experience: We are seeking candidates with at least 2 years Warehouse experience. 1 year Forklift Driving experience is required. We need candidates with excellent computer skills. SAP experience is strongly preferred. Excellent skills with Warehouse Management Software is required.

Responsibilities

• Checks, processes, and clears customers’ orders for shipments.
• Sorts, arranges, and labels all the goods in the warehouse.
• Receives and examines all incoming and outgoing goods on behalf of the organization.
• Wears safety gear as needed in the warehouse.
